Hints and tricks

This section will be a work in progress! Will add to it as i go along, so keep checking back.
Couponing and saving is such a simple process. I think alot of people think it takes great time to search out coupons, clip them, match to sales etc. But you can put in just as much time as you want. I think the most successful trick is, having a large enough area for stockpiling, but also knowing when enough is enough. Sometimes you can go overboard, essentially wasting money by having to throw out items that have expired etc. But it is also a nice feeling to be able to give some items away to friends, family or others that need them.
One idea to get coupons is to join a yahoo group. I have found that people in different areas of the country will get different coupons, or different dollar amounts on the coupons. You can find coupons, on store shelves, online, in newspaper inserts, in magazines. The news paper inserts come out only once or twice a month each, and not in all papers, so you have to wach for them and learn which papers they come out in. I am lucky as to where i work receives a number of the papers that they come out in and i am able to get the inserts as no one else wants there there. A few people at my work even save theirs for me! A good site for ordering coupons is save.ca online. you tick off which you want and fill in your name and addy and they mail them to you. They take approx a week to arrive.
